Welcome
Royston Hub is Website created to Serve Our Community
There
are
many
people
in
our
community
that
require
help
and
support.
Loneliness,
physical
or
mental
challenges
are
some
of
the
problems.
Good
news
is
that
there
is
plenty
of
loving
and
kind
people,
support
groups,
charities
and
organisations
offering
help.
Royston
Hub
is
an
Online
Hub
designed
by
me,
Ivana
Pakozdyova,
a
web
designer
and
a
local
resident
of
Royston.
The
idea
to
create
a
Hub
for
our
community
originated
by
Lady
Sylvia
Beamon.
Sylvia
wanted
to
create
a
support
group
or
a
hub
that
serves
our
community
and
revealed
her
ideas
to
Lyndsay
Davidson,
who
then
organised
meetings
of
all
the
local
support
groups,
charities
and
organisations
that
offer
help.
The
meetings
used
to
be
held
at
Royston
Coombes
Centre.
I
got
the
idea
to
create
this
website
after
first
meeting.
Our
aim
is
to
serve
our
community
to
make
people’s
lives
better.
If
you
are
one
of
those
who
require
and
are
searching
for
help,
you
could
find
it
on
this
page.
There
is
a
list
of
organisations
and
groups
offering
help
&
support
in
many
areas,
and
the
help
and
support
is
often
free
of
charge
(e.g.
Royston
Health
Walks)
or
involves
small
donations
or
non-profit
charges
(e.g.
Royston
District
Community
Transport),
as
many
of
the
organisations
and
groups
are
charity
funded
and
formed
by
volunteers.
If
you
on
the
other
side
are
willing
to
help
to
people
and
offering
services
or
would
like
to
volunteer
in
any
of
the
organisation
below,
or
more,
please
do
not hesitate to contact us at
info@roystonhub.co.uk
.
Another
part
of
the
Royston
Hub
is
devoted
to
activities
that
you
can
sign
up
for
or
try
out
in
Royston.
From
Yoga
classes
that
can
help
with
overal
wellbeing,
offering
also
one
to
sessions,
to
affordable
Gym
memberships,
where
you
can
also
find
Personal
Trainers
that
can help you to get stronger, or fitter, tayloring plans for your needs. Whats’more you can always try first before you sign up.
There
are
activities
for
your
children
and
young
teenagers
that
can
help
your
child
to
focus
on
their
creativity
and
development
of
skills,
build
confidence
and
have
fun
time
at
drama
school,
dance,
sing
and
perform,
and
try
sports
activities.
These
can
also
keep
young teens out of mischief.
